General Information

Dr. Edward T. Rose was born and raised in Belleville, IL.  He attended the University of Notre Dame and received a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Preprofessional Studies and Anthropology.  After careful consideration he decided to follow in the footsteps of his great-grandfather and grandfather who were dentists in Dupo, IL and Clayton, MO.  He graduated cum laude in 2003 from Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine.  During this time he found that the science and practice of endodontics appealed to him and decided to specialize in that field of dentistry.  He attended Saint Louis University's Center for Advanced Dental Education and completed his residency with a Master's of Science (Research) and earned his certificate in Endodontics.

Upon graduating, he moved to Chicago, IL and joined a multi-specialty practice where he practiced for two years.  During this time he felt a desire to begin his own state of the art practice and returned to the southern Illinois area to accomplish that goal. Rose Endodontics was opened in March of 2008.

He is a past President of the Illinois Association of Endodontics as well as the Madison District Dental Society. He is proud to be a founding member of the International Academy of Endodontics.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rose enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He enjoys Crossfit and competing in endurance running and triathlons, including completing an Ironman in 2009.

Dr. Elizabeth A. Uhrich is from Palos Park, IL where she grew up around her father's family dentistry practice. She attended his Alma Mater, Bradley University, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. She went on to attend Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine, graduating cum laude, in 2007. While in dental school, she was an active participant in student research and was given an award from the Pierre Fauchard Academy for Outstanding Achievements in Dentistry, as well as the Student Acheivement Award in Endodontics. She then went on to complete her Endodontic residency and earn her Masters degree in Oral Biology (Research) at Saint Louis University's Center for Advanced Dental Education in 2009.

She then practiced as an associate endodontist in several locations including Myrtle Beach SC, Austin TX, Palos Heights IL, and Katy TX. In August 2015 she returned to Illinois to raise her family and become a part of Rose + Uhrich Endodontics and the Metro-East community. She is an active member of the Illinois Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Society and she is currently the program chair of the Madison District Dental Society.

Dr. Uhrich lives in Troy IL and enjoys spending time with her husband, four children and two cats.  She enjoys endurance sports, cooking, gardening and camping. She is also a member of Good Sam RV club, USA Triathlon, and Sierra Club.
